The u16 girls travelled to Killenaule with 12 players, each girl played their best which led to a lively and tight game. The first goal of the game came from the Killenaule side who got past Emma with a chip over her head and a light tap to send the ball into the back of the net. Killenaule lead 1-0. Peake Villa’s only goal came later when the ball flew out of the Killenaule box and Chloe Cummins drove the ball back into the goal dropping behind the keepers head. HT score 1-1.

As the second half progressed the Villa girls kept playing in the Killenaule half and missed a few great chances with Missy Condon barely missing the top corner. The final goal came when one of the Killenaule girls kicked the ball towards goal and it slipped in under the diving keeper Enya. Killenaule pushed on through to win the game 2-1. Great game played by all. Well done girls.
