· Support/respect my league, club, coach, players, and officials.
· Inform coaches of illness, injury, holidays, etc. to my child.
· Ensure my child is punctual when attending training or matches.
· Make an effort to attend matches, showing support for my child.
· Encourage FAIR PLAY at home and do not instil a “win at all costs” attitude in children.
· Provide appropriate equipment/clothing/refreshments for my child.
· Learn and promote the rules of the game and policies of the league.
· Be a positive role model for all children.
· Refrain from coaching my child or others during matches or practice – this is the coaches’ role.
· Be aware that safety is my responsibility.
· I will conduct myself as I expect my child to.
· Encourage healthy lifestyle habits.
· Communicate mine and my child's concerns to relevant personnel.
· Teach your child to treat referees, other players, coaches, officials and spectators with respect regardless of race, creed, colour, sex or ability
· Give the coach help when asked and show appreciation for a job well done.
· Support the coach’s and referee decisions. These individuals are only doing the best they can and they need support not anger.
· I will praise and emphasise effort and skill and not ridicule any player.
· Refrain from contacting the coach unless it is necessary, respect they have a private life.
