Fai Junior Cup.
Clonmel Town 5 Peake Villa 0
Villa we're taking apart by Clonmel Town in the first 15 minutes where they let in 3 shocking goals. Clonmel got a fourth just before the break to seal the tie. Villa played better in the second half but the tie was over as a contest. Clonmel scored a fifth just before the end. All in all a terrible performance from Villa who are low in confidence at the moment.

Clonmel Celtic 1 Peake Villa 2
Villa put in their best team performance yet this season when they travelled to take on a decent Celtic side. Both sides had their chances in the opening fifteen minutes before Villa settled into their stride and took control by opening the score through an excellent James Dillon strike which gave the keeper no chance. Villa continued to exert pressure on their opponents and were rewarded after thirty minutes with another excellent strike from Jack Ryan Casey. Celtic came back into the game now and got one back through a free kick despite the best efforts of the excellent Eoghan Tinkler in the Villa goal. In a frustrating second half Villa were unable to find the net despite creating numerous chances with Jack Fallon and Ronan Mcguire a constant threat. At the other end the Villa defence was well organised in the centre with Conor Murphy and Sean Butler solid throughout with both Jamie Donovan and Seamus Ryan contributing well to defence and attack. In midfield captain for the day Ben Murphy worked tirelessly with Kevin Pattan to break up the Celtic play and create the platform for another Villa attack. Well done to all.

Mullinahone 0 Peake Villa 2
Villa got their league campaign back on track this Saturday in some very difficult weather conditions with a comfortable away win . Villa took the lead in the fifth minute when Kieran Boyle crossed the ball to Jack Kelly who volleyed a great goal home from 15 yards . Villa kept up the pressure and Kieran Boyle was very unlucky not to double the lead minutes later when his effort came back off the post . Mullinahone to their credit tried to fight back but we're getting nothing past a defence of Oisin O'Brien , Henry Fogarty, Conor Stapleton and Danny Treacy. Villa created more chances as the half went on but for some fine saves would have found themselves further ahead .
The second half started the same way and Dillon Maher was very unlucky with a very good header that scraped the crossbar. Liam McCormack went on a very good run and was denied a great goal by a last minute clearance . 10 mins into the second half and Villa doubled their lead when a brilliant cross from Jack Kelly found Conor Stapleton who calmly side footed into the top corner. 2 minutes later Villa were stunned not to have a 3rd when another Jack Kelly cross found Eamonn White who volleyed to the top corner only for the keeper to pull off a stunning save . Villa were able to push forward for the remainder of the game with Reece Caroll doing an excellent job as the holding midfielder. Villa could have been caught late on only for a fine reaction save from Mark McCarthy to keep the clean sheet in tact.
U12 Premier
St Kevins A 0 Peake Villa A 1
The A team travelled to St Kevins for this local derby, the second time in two weeks that these teams met. As in the last game Villa scored early on when Ciaran Woodlock crossed from the left wing to Robbie Stapleton who controlled the pass well under pressure from the St Kevins goalkeeper before he rounded the keeper slotting home from a tight angle. Villa proceeded to dominate the game and a combination of excellent goalkeeping and wayward finishing by the Villa forwards saw the score remain at 1-0. St Kevins looked to have equalised with eight minutes to go when they scored with a breakaway attack, but the goal was disallowed for offside. The Villa team continued to play well until the final whistle without scoring another goal. A good performance by all the players which resulted in a hard earned win.
U12 Championship
Peake Villa B 1 Bansha Celtic 2.
The B team welcomed the league leaders to the Tower Field. A hard fought first half saw both teams create some good chances and Bansha scored one of theirs to lead 1-0 at half time. The second half was evenly contested as well and Bansha scored a second goal late in the half as the Villa players tired due to their efforts in trying to equalise. Despite going 2-0 down the Villa team kept going forward and got their reward when Ryan Egan scored a stunning goal on the stroke of full time. A great effort by all the players who were unlucky not to draw this game.
U12 Division 1
Peake Villa C 1 St Kevins B 4.
St Kevins proved to be too strong for the Villa C team. The Villa started poorly and St Kevins took advantage of this racing into a 3-0 lead which they held until half time. The team came more into the game in the second half, and competed better with the St Kevins team. Kevin's scored another goal early in the second half but a battling performance by the Villa players was rewarded when Dylan Nevin scored with five minutes to go to make the score 4-1 to St Kevins. Best performers for Villa were Corey Moore, Dylan Nevin and Sean Og Leahy.
