Weekend Review 17/1/16.
Premier Division League.
Bansha Celtic 2 Peake Villa 8. Villa are sure of premier league football next season with an excellent performance away to Bansha. Bansha took the lead after 5 minutes with a fine goal. Villa like the previous Sunday did not let it affect them and responded with a brilliant 40 minute display of football that secured all the points by halftime. Oscar del Almo finished well when put through by Dale Loughnane after 10 minutes. Mattew Fogarty made it 2-1 from a corner aftet 15 minutes. Pippy Carroll then made it 3-1 with a lovely finish after 25 minutes. Oscar then got his 2nd another good finish on 35 minutes. The goal of the season came when some brilliant one touch football involving several of the players was finished to the net by Dale to make it 5-1 at the half time break. Bansha scored just after the break to make it 5-2. Dale then got his second on 60 minutes, Oscar then got his hatrick with a pass from kevin Croke. Not to be out done Dale got his hatrick on 85 minutes. Bansha finished the scoring in the last minute. A great performance from this very young Villa side that are improving all season and are now showing that it takes time for the younger lads to adapted to this standerd of football.
This was a game which all 14 lads can take great confidence from. Man of the match performance from Stephen Fewer who had a stormer in the middle of the field.
